One of the books that have had a dramatic impact on how I live my life is "Conversations With God" by Neale Donald Walsch. Some of you may not have had the same experience reading the book. Some may not have even bothered reading it. That's ok. Nothing wrong with that. As for me, that book changed me and has helped me through some of my life's most questioning seasons.
Nowadays I get my daily dose of inspiration from Neale through email.
This was today's reflection from Neale:
On this day of your life, Mayang, I believe God wants you to know that someone is extending love to you this day, and hoping so dearly that you will receive it.
You have asked for someone to love you right now, and God has answered your prayer. Look. Listen. That loving person is right in your world. Open the door for them to come in.
I promise you, I'm not making this up. Someone is loving you right now. Look. Listen. Let it in.
There, I've said it twice. God wanted me to make sure you really got it.
It was just what I needed to hear. Just because I am unaware that there are people out there who love me, it doesn't mean that their love for me doesn't exist. It doesn't mean that it hasn't been sent forth. It doesn't mean that it's not on its way to me.
I found such comfort in this inspiration today. I hope you claim it too for yourself. I hope you believe that someone is extending love to you today.
