The Answer is You

"God doesn't have a Plan B. His plan is you. You are the answer." ~ Gary Haugen

The quote that sports this post was uttered by Gary Haugen when he noticed a sort of injustice. This injustice, which interestingly he was not a victim of, made him think "Someone's got to do something," before he reached (or was stumblingly led as M. Scott Peck would most probably describe it) to say these words and act on this conviction.

I can imagine the struggle between the first thought and the conclusion he got to. Aren't we all - on some level - right smack there in the middle? Sometimes it feels like we need a whack on the head to realize that we can do something to change our own predicament. And maybe, as we are willingly and even begrudgingly led, He surprises us yet again by creating a ripple effect from our actions.

What really blows my mind is that even if you do something for yourself or your own interests, He will still use that to the benefit of others.

As my best friend always reminds me: with God, nothing is wasted. And maybe even if it begins with you, it never ends there. And even if you know you're the answer, the questioning doesn't stop.
